Confined Space Rescue Operations

Confined Space Rescue Operations

1-day for IRT, 5-days for RCP, and up to two years for QRP (See more on these certification levels below.) -  KES confined space rescue training is the combination of OSHA mandated rescue regulations  and one of the rope rescue courses (depending on the level of training the client is in need of).  As with all these courses, we can modify the length of time and the curriculum to meet specific worksite needs.  We highly recommends a Rescue Potential Worksite Analysis prior to the final determination of any site-specific rescue course.  KES typically provide a Rescue Potential Worksite analysis at no extra charge when combined with one of the rescue courses offered by KES.  Travel cost may apply if the location is outside of Arizona  . Please contact us  for additional information on having a Rescue Potential Worksite Analysis completed for your location.

Although there will be review in OSHA permit required confined space entry, they participant should already be trained in confined space entries. There is a primary focus on basic knotcraft, equipment recognition, using standard tripods with cable winches and SRLs, and patient packaging and scene management.

This level of training requires a higher level of rope rigging including the  setup of the TerrAdaptor and/or Vortex in multiple tripod configurations.  The RCP is capable of recognizing unsafe rescue/work conditions and may order a work stoppage until the unsafe condition is corrected.
