The Journey

No book, instructor, and/or school of rescue contains all the answers. The journey of any practitioner will never end, and only through a career commitment and diligent practice does one start to get a glimpse of what it means to become a true expert of any topic. Our work here at KES addresses areas of customer support as it applies work access and rescue. Much of the KES belief system and approach to rigging has evolved. The reality is that simplicity promotes efficiency, and, simplicity is indeed a complex issue. Many schools of rescue training fail by over-emphasizing complex rigging subjects that are rarely used and at the same time turning a blind eye to fundamental details of those same complex topics. At KES we attempt to refocus attention on the simplicity of worksite specific training. Regardless if it is fire/rescue or industrial rescue, the needs of the client must always come first.
